We love seeing familiar faces at gigs and getting re-booked for venues and clients year after year is a wonderful reminder that we are still the best wedding band in Yorkshire.

Our annual performances at the West Yorkshire village Bramham Ball, raises money for local charities. We have met some wonderful people at the Charity Ball and have consequently been recommended to perform at their birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, christmas parties and weddings ever since.

We were recently back at Bramham performing at Bowcliffe Hall to perform for the beautiful wedding of Catherine and Geoff.

Func On The Rocks are honored to have been selected to perform at so many of their memorable occasions including family weddings and significant birthdays throughout the years.

Our vocalist Cherie Gears, who had given birth to baby Hugo just three months prior to the wedding, was adamant she would not miss such a special day. Luckily Catherine and Geoff welcomed the newborn to his first gig with open arms.

Cherie kick started the live music by performing some jazz vocals and accompanied herself on piano. The couple requested some background jazz and love songs for the intimate drinks reception.

Cherie happily took requests from guests and kept the energy flowing until the master of ceremonies announced the Wedding Breakfast.

After some more live music during the pre-drinks reception, guests were welcomed into the Ball Room for the wedding reception.

The fabulously fun and quirky couple took their first dance duties to a whole new level and pre planned a flash mob, which stunned guests and really got the party started!

The dance floor was full from start to finish with Func On The Rocks performing a variety of dancefloor fillers from Sophie Ellis Bexter to The Killers.

The two most popular guests had to be their beloved dogs Flynn and Bodie who shared the whole day with the couple and provided endless cuddles and entertainment to friends and family.

This wedding was made extra special for the couple, by combining their birthday celebrations and their anniversary of almost two decades together.

The unique wedding combined a warm family atmosphere with extra special moments throughout the day.

It was wonderful to see so many faces who we have met and performed for at previous events and we very much look forward to performing for this gorgeous couple again in the near future.
