We’ve seen some incredible parties over the years at FUNC ON THE ROCKS, but the recent double birthday celebration in East Yorkshire may have just raised the bar for private events everywhere. Think festival-meets-house-party-meets-wild-west—and you’re getting close.
Set in a beautiful private residence nestled in the East Yorkshire countryside, this was no ordinary backyard gathering. We came together to celebrate two major milestones: a 21st and a 50th birthday, each equally deserving of something unforgettable. And unforgettable it was.
🎶 Live Music & DJ Sets That Lit Up the Tent
We had the absolute pleasure of providing the live music for the evening—and let’s just say the tent was rocking. Guests were on their feet from the first note, with tunes spanning the decades to suit the multi-generational crowd. It didn’t matter if you were 21, 50, or somewhere in between—everyone found their rhythm.
When it was time to pass the baton, SK Entertainment kept the party at full tilt with their epic DJ set. Bangers, anthems, and absolute floor-fillers all night long.
🎉 Wild West Saloon Bar & Tipi Fire Pit Vibes
What’s a party without a good drink? Guests saddled up at the Wild West Saloon Bar, complete with swinging doors and whiskey vibes. Later in the evening, people gathered at the tipi fire pit—story-swapping, laughing, and toasting marshmallows under the stars. It was the perfect chill-out spot to balance all the wild dancing.
🍕🍔 Foodie Heaven: Pizza Van & BBQ
You don’t dance all night on an empty stomach. Luckily, the food was next level. A pizza van cranked out wood-fired perfection, while the BBQ dished up smoky, mouth-watering goodness. Whether you were grabbing a quick slice or going back for seconds (or thirds) on ribs, no one went hungry.
🤠 Bucking Bronco, Fun Fair & More
And if that wasn’t enough action? There was a bucking bronco in full swing—cue nonstop laughter as guests tried (and failed) to hang on. Nearby, a classic fun-fair stall added that perfect touch of nostalgic fun to an already unforgettable evening.
